- Cigarette burns:
Most common cigarette burns can be rubbed with steel wool or sandpaper. If necessary the floor can be stained as needed and then refinished. If the burn is too deep, boards /

- Chewing gum, crayon, or candle wax-
Take a plastic bag filled with ice and apply to the top of the gum / crayon / candle wax deposit until it is brittle enough to break off. Clean the area with a product made for urethane finishes.
- Dried milk or food stains
Use a cleaner developed specifically for urethane finishes. For stubborn spots, scrub using the urethane cleaner.
- Shoe scuffs. (Black marks from the soles of our shoes)

- Dark spots and ink stains
Use a cleaner developed specifically for urethane finishes. For stubborn spots, scrub using the urethane cleaner.
- Oil and grease stains

- Water stains or white spots
Use a cleaner developed specifically for urethane finishes. For stubborn spots, scrub using the urethane cleaner.
- High Heel Shoe Dents
High heels will cause dents that require professional repair.
- Mold or mildew-
Use a cleaner developed for urethane finishes. If the mold or mildew lies underneath the surface finish, sand and refinish the area.
- Scratches-
